Autumn Greetings! In this issue, we update you on RCE-Ukraine's Biblical Entrepreneurship training in Moldova, hear from Jeremiah Koshal on his return to Kenya and the projects he wants to begin there, and of course more from Tom Stansbury on the Africa Project. We also invite you to consider judging a business plan competition in Ukraine!
As always, may what you read prompt you to praise and pray, and consider how you might join our great God in what He is doing around the globe. Pray for us here at the Center: our effectiveness is multiplied by your investment in prayer. In November, please especially uphold funding for the Africa Project and for Jeremiah Koshal's work in Kenya.
RCE-Ukraine Team Brings Training to Moldova
Ivan Papish, director of RCE-Ukraine's "Success Center," led a team to Moldova where they taught Principles of Biblical Entrepreneurship for three days in mid-October. The 37 students who participated in the training were glowing in their praise of the seminar.
"It was an answer to my prayers," said Denis L. "It is very important to know what God thinks about business," commented Elena S., "I never heard anything about business." And Natalia V. said she was thankful "to receive the knowledge and be changed in [her] thinking towards business and our calling on the earth."

The Africa Project and Spiritual Convergence
I am amazed at how God moves when what is often referred to as ‘convergence’ happens in a Kingdom leader’s life, writes Tom Stansbury. When our calling in God; our gifts, abilities, and talents; our past experiences (good and bad); AND an outpouring of the Holy Spirit is released in and through us—when all this ‘comes together and unites’ all at the same time, it’s spiritual convergance.
RCE is partnering with the International Christian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC)--spiritual convergence!--to establish business development centers in Burundi, Rwanda, Liberia and Benin. The presidents of these countries invited ICCC to help develop their nations. RCE will create the curriculum and oversee the start up of the development centers; the first is scheduled to open in Burundi in April 2009.

RCE Kenya Update - A Note from Jeremiah Koshal
RCE Research Fellow Dr. Jeremiah Koshal and his wife Ruth returned to Kenya in July 2008. Jeremiah writes:
Though we’ve been back in Kenya for almost four months now, we’re still in the adjusting mode. When we arrived at the beginning of July, I was upbeat about implementing all the ideas and projects that I thought would help my community and country. I soon realized there was no way I could undertake so many projects while trying to readjust to being here at the same time.
It is an honor to be back home, but we are also challenged to roll up our sleeves and do what we can. I’m focusing on Go Africa Safaris right now, and strategizing on many other projects. With God’s help and with your prayers and support, all these projects and many more will come into fruition.

Theology of Business: The Two Trees
Genesis is a rich book when it comes to developing a theology of enterprise. God’s original intention for enterprise (insert “business” if you like) was for it to be an engine for His global purposes. God was in a very real sense the ultimate entrepreneur, and he brings man in as a partner in his operation.
Out of a relationship of love, trust, reliance, and obedience blessing flowed... [but] this relationship was shattered by the introduction of sin and a new world system. These two competing systems are paralleled in the two trees of the garden.

Roundtables Bring Many Together
In October 2008 the Center held 2 roundtables - one in Virginia Beach and one in the Dallas area. Jim Beckett, who created the Shine Foundation to connect like-minded believers from wide-ranging ministries, hosted our Dallas Roundtable Oct. 27th. The focus of the fall roundtables was on business development centers, particularly for the Africa Project.
We were blessed to meet folks from a variety of backgrounds, including some Regent alumni, and look forward to greater involvement and partnership from many!
Thanks for participating!
