Called to Invest in Kenya
Patrick Bell (Regent MBA student) and his wife Holly are relocating to Nairobi in December. For a distance course taught by RCE Director Dr. John Mulford, Bell (then living in Japan) researched the Japanese used car market in Kenya. Because of his interest in Kenya, Mulford connected Bell with Go Africa Safaris founders Dr. Jeremiah Koshal (Regent grad and Research Fellow at RCE) and Joseph Lenku.

The three men have joined forces and created a consulting arm for their business: the Apex International Consulting Group. Moving to Nairobi is a great step of faith for the Bells; though finding investment for the business has been a challenge, they are steadfast in following the Lord's command to go.

Micro Enterprise Kingdom Companies
In the mid 1990's Guatemala emerged from a prolonged civil war. Economic confusion and staggering unemployment reigned. Perimeter Church's BPI ministry and the Jholdas Group have responded by partnering with Showers of Grace Church in Guatemala City, sending teams to teach and launch Micro Enterprise Kingdom Companies.
Entrepreneurial students wrote marketing and financial plans for each proposed business, along with Kingdom Impact Statements. Plans are being assessed, and the best will receive small, low-interest loans through the ministry. Senior Pastor Edmundo Guillen says, "Perimeter Church has been a gift from the Lord for us... [they're] teaching us how to fish, to get out of poverty and then to invest in the kingdom.”
